# Hello! My friend has been really sick for a couple of week(s) and…

Hello! My friend has been really sick for a couple of week(s) and sadly have not had the energy to water her, my friend is now more lively and today watered her but what else can we do to her recovery? Pruning, light, whatever helps!

She looks pretty healthy to be honest. I do think she needs a bigger pot those roots are coming out. I’d put in a 2 inch bigger pot and just a bit deeper. Put it in so that the dirt will come up half an inch higher than previously. It should be happy then!

I would do a very well training soil. Perhaps a type orchid mix with not too much bark.

Orchids need to either be in orchid bark, sphagnum moss, or a mix. Orchid bark prevents overwatering, and sphagnum moss prevents under watering.

Yes orchid bark or Moss although I prefer orchid bark. I would also put it in an orchid pot.
