SOS!! she’s my first plant but i don’t know if she’s okay! shes a caladium she’s readjusting but parts of her are turning white? i don’t know how to help her!! also should i buy grow light and any other tips? i would really appreciate it i love her and i want to take the best care possible!! thank you so much! (first photo is yesterday second is today)

I think the white parts in the second photos are new baby leaves coming out!

I agree with Star. I’ve only had one Caladium, but I think those are new leaves coming out of the “bulb”. If you have appropriate natural light, I don’t think a grow light is needed.

Agreed new leaves. Congrats! Looks like you're already doing a great job taking care of her! Grow lights don't really hurt but check on her specific needs because your room looks well lit so may be fine. One thing to add that I also recently learned, humidity is important for new leaves. Misting does not replace humidity in the air. Learn where your plan would grow in the wild and if your home is significantly drier air you may need to look for a humidifier to keep near the plants, otherwise leaves can crack and not unfurl well.

sooo i would think lots of indirect light because shes so variegated getting the right amt of light w/o burning her is key  
but ur room looks pretty well lit so i dknt think a grow light is nessesary like my room is a south facing window but its very shaded so i compensate w leds yknow(sry if that was confusing)

I keep my caladium in a little cup with water that meets the drainage holes. They like a ton of water and don’t like the soil drying out.
