Are you talking about the brown things sticking out of the stem in the first pic. If so those are aerial roots! The second picture looks like something wet fell on the leaf and adhered to it. The browning in the corner could be a number of things

Yes the aerial roots why are they fuzzy

I’m not sure exactly what it’s called but they do that to increase surface area to collect more nutrients, moisture, etc. from the air!
