Does anyone know a good homemade bug spray I can conjure up to keep ants and bugs away from my indoor plants??? I'm tired of squishing ants one by one.

If you have ants make sure all your kitchen counters and floor is cleaned and vacuumed if the ants are still about you'll have to get a ant trap. I have yellow stickys in all my pots for fly's and apart from that I'd love to know if you find a good bug spray solution I'm trying water and dish soap

I use neem \& lavender oils! I mix a few drops into their watering \& spraying water. The lavender is more to cover up the neem smell bc I’m not a fan and it works pretty well! I have fungus gnats sometimes and I see them run away whenever I use it haha. The lavender can attract butterflies \& bees if your plants are ever outside but it keeps away all the lame bugs :)

Ants do this interesting thing when they die. Whenever you squish an ant, the other ants know and they’ll come back a couple days later to try to claim its dead body. So if you kill the ants I suggest trying to collect them first and kill them outside if possible so you aren’t encouraging the others to come back. They also hate the smell of peppermint. They smell when the others die so try to cover that smell \& clean the surfaces after.

Maybe move your plants to a different spot if you can since the ants seem to like coming back to that location. Good luck! 🫶🏻

peppermint oil diluted in water sprayed around the entry points in ur home should keep little invaders out
