# Hii everyone! I just needed some help on something~ i was given some…

Hii everyone! I just needed some help on something~ i was given some tulips for my birthday a few days ago (rly wanted to try some flowers for once~) For some reason though, only the petals have kind of turned dull in color and fallen off. Both the leaves and stems look strong and healthy, but her petals are ALL gone.  
I’m not too worried since I have no problem starting from scratch with her bulbs next time but I’d like to know some possible causes so that this doesn’t happen when I try again. Any and all help is appreciated 🥺

Tulips generally don’t last long as cut flowers , if they’re potted , the weather affects how long they will last ,, it’s not ur fault !

I would try cutting back on the flower stem as that can help new flowers to grow
