I use Planta as a guideline for watering and use the skewer trick to make sure it needs water. It’s placed a couple feet from a south facing window so it’s possibly getting too much light? But never direct sunlight. I have one and it grows by leaps and bounds with thick, shiny leaves, and looks just like your picture. I’m not sure why your leaves are splitting. Personally, I don’t think the baby rubber plant looks like a rubber plant at all. I never got that nickname. Do you feed your little peperomia? Could it just need a little nourishment? I don’t mist mine and my humidity is around 40% and it does fine. They like to stay moist so don’t let it totally dry out. Good luck! I love my peperomia.
