# Mealy bugs again! Different plant this time and this one wasn't…

Mealy bugs again! Different plant this time and this one wasn't anywhere near the one that had it last time. I guess they're just going to be the bane of my existence. Lol. At least I thankfully have a lot of success with getting rid of them and an extra bathroom for quarantine. Lol

Can yo share what methods have worked best for you? Just found mealybugs on my Chinese evergreen and it’s my first time dealing with them 😭

Take alcohol on a Qtip and dab them all. Make a mix of one part hydrogen peroxide to three parts water and pour it through the soil until it drips out the bottom. Put it in quarantine for at least a week. If you see any more white spots hit them with the alcohol. This has worked for me every time but you do absolutely have to treat the soil too.
