I recently noticed one part of my Money Tree looks like it’s dying but the other stems seem fine. Should I look into removing it or is it fine to leave? Any tips on how to help are appreciated!

You need to identify the cause of the damage or the other leaves could die off as well.

I recommend examining the roots for rotting. The roots will be dark, smelly and mushy. Cut out the rot, if found.

Remove the moss from the top of the soil. Moss stays wet too long giving time for fungus gnat eggs to hatch in it. The moss prevents the soil from drying out creating the ideal environment for fungus gnat larvae to crawl around in after hatching. Let the soil dry down more before watering again.

Increase air flow around your plants to dry the soil at a faster rate. Give the plant bright indirect light. Healthy plants use up more water. 🪴🍀

Thank you!

With the way money trees get tied together, it's possible the other stems just strangled it (probably at the point where they're tied). If they're tight on one side they grow in the other direction, but if the other stems managed to completely surround it, it wouldn't have anywhere to go

Thank you! I did untie the tie at the top and there was one at the base of the plant under the soil. I also removed the moss from the top as recommended above. Hopefully all this keeps the plant healthy
