probably just damage. something may have scratched or hit it and peeled some of the skin off and it calloused over.

do not remove it, it will just callous over again and probably larger

I don't think it got scratched. There's nothing by it and it wasn't there a few days ago. I'm so confused. I don't know what would cause it. Thanks

i'd look out for pests then, but those aren't the pest itself

That is the weird part cause I do see anything. I will give them a good bath and see if it helps. Thanks for all you help
