Spider Plant Help!!!

I’m guessing this is a fungus. It’s all over the entire plant, got her 2 months ago and the leaves were like this then. I thought maybe too much sun, so I bought her home to get better. Anybody see this on spider plants before? I have 3 other spiders that are totally fine. It’s just this one!

Take it out of the pot and have a look at the roots. Post it here if you can. The roots are supposed to be white. If there's brown, the plant may not be salvageable.

Yes my same Spiderplant has a few leaves like that every once in a while so i just cut them out.

My spider plant had the same thing happen. I just simply cut it off and it keeps growing just fine. If there is a lot you might want to look at the roots to make sure it’s not rotting

You can see what’s left of mine. They dry out and fall off or I snatch them off as I pass by. One or two turning brown is not an issue. Many turning brown is likely a watering issue and not a lighting issue. Put it back in bright light. Mine gets direct morning light and bright shade outside.

Check the roots for rot. Spider plants have very thick roots that hold more water than the typical tropical plant. They need the soil to completely dry out to avoid root rot from overwatering.

Ok! Now, if there are any black roots can I cut them off or does the entire plant have to go?

Cut off the mushy smelly ones, if any. Remove the soil if rot is found. It could contain bacteria. Rinse all the roots with hydrogen peroxide to disinfect. Disinfect the pot or replace with a new pot of the same diameter. Disinfect the replacement pot and tools with peroxide. Replace with well drain soil. Avoid soil with peat moss or other moss. They hold too much water for a spider plant.
