# Hello fellow plant enthusiasts! I need some advice. My Thai monstera…

Hello fellow plant enthusiasts! I need some advice. My Thai monstera just today showed yellowing in the leaves as photographed. I checked the soil with a moisture meter and it’s showing “moist”. Can I pick your brains? I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I’d look into how “moist”  
How long has it been moist?

Thank you. I checked the roots and it smells rotting :( should I just put it in water to recover?

Filtered water with a capful of hydrogen peroxide. It can be left like that for awhile or transferred into a very chunky mix. I add a couple handfuls of something like this\* to regular soil mix for most of my plants.

This is a bonsai mix from Amazon but you can buy just chips too
