# can somebody help me with my money tree please. the stem is green at…

can somebody help me with my money tree please. the stem is green at the top but halfway all the way down its brown and a bit squishy to touch. what are your recos? im not sure if the brown stem means root rot or not.

I would chop it above the squishy part and repot it from there. You’ll need a wayyy smaller pot tho like 4 inches max. I don’t have any experience rooting these so I’m not sure if water propagating or potting it into soil right away would be best - maybe someone else has advice on that
