Both my pothos and my young monstera now have leaves that look like this. Plants seem otherwise healthy, but this issue is persistent. Any thoughts?

Looks like sun burn.

The black spot does look like sunburn. The yellow edges and black dots look like pests or overwatering. Check for both to eliminate them as issues. Look both above and under the leaves. Check for mushy smelly root rot. 🪴🍀
