# Hi. Can anyone help me with these two dots (marks) on my zanzibar Gem…

Hi. Can anyone help me with these two dots (marks) on my zanzibar Gem (zaiifolia) ? What is happening ? Same dots have appeared on one of my pachypodium lamerei leaves since this morning. Help me please. I'm new at taking care of plants

The tiny white dots are spider mites, they cause damage to the plants. Rinse the plants leaves really well with water and spray with a Castile soap and water mixture every couple of days for a week or two and it should take care of it. If these are kept outside though they will likely come back. If they’re normally inside then quarantine them from other plants and check the surrounding plants because spider mites travel through the air easily.
