Hope everyone is doing well!!

I am starting to have heck of a time battling spider mites. I think my ivy is on its last leg and fearing it’s too late. I treated it with Neem Oil, but they’re still going at it \& stronger.

What’s the census for battling these pests on a variety of plants??

(I think I won the mealy bug battle just as the mites turned up on other plants)

All the best! 🌻🌞

I had the same problem and bought a night time killing machine. I got it on Amazon here is the link. All bugs gone in eight days.

I don’t recommend spraying down the plants with alcohol. You can end up losing the plant. Try wiping off the webs and mites with insecticidal soap including under the leaves. You have to repeat applications about 5-7 days. Same with using neem oil. Most pests don’t go away with just one application. It could take several weeks.

Isolate the affected plants. Wear gloves to avoid cross contamination. Disinfect tools. Wipe down the area and under the pots.

I ended up spraying the entire plant with neem oil, let it sit for few hours. Then, misted water. This morning I repeated misting water and wiped the leaves.

It look like I have a handful of leaves still looking healthy…
