# I inherited this plant from my boss. I’d love to do anything to bring…

I inherited this plant from my boss. I’d love to do anything to bring it back to being happy. It was super dry so I gave it a good drink, but are there any other tricks I can try or signs of deeper problems I’ll need to take care of before it’s back to health?

I tried to save one of these from a coworker! It unfortunately had very bad root rot and didn’t make it 😢 so my advice based on personal experience is to check the roots!

I’m not sure it can be saved. Try changing the soil and checking the roots for damage. Fertilize. 🍀🪴

I took it out and checked the roots. Didn’t see any immediate signs of rot. I just trimmed them a little anyways and gave it some fresh soil. Guess it’s a waiting game now 🤞🏼
