# Heyy so this is my monstera Thai.. she was never in good shape since…

Heyy so this is my monstera Thai.. she was never in good shape since I got her. I got 2 at the same time and the other one is doing absolutely great so I’m not sure what the problem is. One of her leafs are turning yellow. And I’m pretty sure those are bugs under the leaf but I’m really not sure. Could it be dirt maybe? I’m really hoping it’s not bugs but I may be in denial. If you could help me identify the problem here as well as a way to treat it I would be EXTREMELY grateful. She was supposed to be a gift but at this point I may as well gift the other one (originally supposed to be matching plants with my best friend). If I could save her I would really love to. Thank you!!

How much have you been fertilizing? How much have you been watering?

I fertilize according to to the schedule and I only water when the dirt is dry

Gotcha. Well do you have neem oil on hand?

Neem oil helps with all kinds of stuff. It is organic and will help get rid of all kinds of pests, fungal diseases, etc.

I unfortunately do not have any neem oil… but I will get some because clearly it’s useful 😂

I’d get the concentrate so you can make your own and it’ll last MUCH longer than the ready made stuff. I’ve done both.

use a mixture of neem oil  
i have a neem oil castille soap lemon juice and water mixtyre  
straight neem oil can burn your plants

Looks like thrips to me.

Ive been religiously spraying with soapy water hoping it kills whatever it is

don’t use fertilizer to often it will cause your plant to look oily and sad but idk
