I would repot. Make sure to use all new soil maybe a slightly larger pot and rinse the roots off before repotting. So, if I see white, moldy looking stuff (I’m talking about other plants now) I can sprinkle cinnamon? Possibly more light, if its not sufficient. I would not upsize the pot, or you'll end up with overwatering issues again. I posted my opinion of what course of action I'd personally take, and explained why. If you can't deal with people having different opinions from yours, or correcting something that could harm a plant, group posts may not be for you. Lots of people have differing opinions, you don't have to get offended over them.
