# hello! new to the plant world, my boyfriend a couple months ago got…

hello! new to the plant world, my boyfriend a couple months ago got me this miniature rose plant. when he gave it to me, the stems were brown. after a while it produced greener stems and leaves, but the blooms have already died. the pot is plastic and the soil is still damp. what should i do? should i trim the brown stems some more? i could also put it outside for more sunlight.

Prune back anything that’s dead. Those new stems and leaves will be better for it.

It also looks pretty dried out I would water a bit more in portion and check the soil in case you have pests or something like that
