# One of the new leaves on my avocado plant has a brown, dead tip on…

One of the new leaves on my avocado plant has a brown, dead tip on it. Is this salt buildup or could it be something else? I am giving the plant a very deep watering if it is salt buildup.

I also let the soil dry out almost completely between watering. Is that too dry?
