# Could the leaf damage to this rhododendron e from a black vine…

Could the leaf damage to this rhododendron e from a black vine weevil? If so how do I get rid of these insects?

Yes! Weevil. The best way to get rid of them is physical removal, picking them off or shaking them off on a white cloth at night, wrapping up the cloth and disposing of them. You can also apply sticky barriers like double sided tape around the stems so they get trapped. Beneficial nematodes in the soil will help kill any larvae!
