M’y crocodile Fern is sick she made two new leaves but not more and still looks bad .. help

Poss root rot, is the soil drying out at lest 2inches before watering, if not hold back on watering, and click snooze soil wet in app so it adjusts watering schedule, do you find there is water in the bottom of the pot, may need to take out of pot and check roots

Also only likes distilled or rain water, tap water is no good for ferns
