I’ve had this plant for about 2 weeks and the new leaves still haven’t opened. Is this normal? She’s under a grow light 12 hours a day and I water about once a week

probably a humidity issue. if they were unopened when you got the plant, the change in conditions will impact this.

do you happen to have a handheld steamer for clothing? giving it a couple passes with that is a nice hit of humidity that will help to gently open them. you could also try a warm washcloth.

worse case scenario they open up eventually with some damage — but the next new leaves should be adapted to your home 😊💚
