# I bought this Syngonium ‘wendlandii’ last week off of Facebook…

I bought this Syngonium ‘wendlandii’ last week off of Facebook Marketplace and as you kinda see, she looks sad. It had been a while since she was watered and her pot was riddled with dead plant material.

I watered it and used neem oil to ward off any bugs that may have come with it. I also added a bit of fertilizer in the water. Every four-ish days, I mist her down because she is a very dry area.

Is there anything I can do to make her healthier? Or are they picky like calathea’s and are drama queens?

Fertilizer is good once it gets settled.

Can you move her to a less dry area? It looks kind of dark too.

They are nothing like calathea!😄
But, they do better in bright indirect light with moderate humidity. Home heating systems can leave it dry.
