Hi all!

This is my elephant plant. She has lost three leaves since I bought her one week ago. The leaves quickly turned yellow, so I removed them. I am not sure if this is normal because she is just adapting to her new environment or if she is on her way out already :(

She has three large leaves, which all look like the one pictured. Does anyone know if this is a normal colour for the leaves or if this may be about to turn yellow too? If so, what is most likely causing this? I have just bought a grow light but have no idea how to use it.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

If most leaves are turning yellow, that signals a problem like overwatering to me. But since you just bought her, I would check her roots for root rot

Elephant plant needs to be outside. And plenty of water. 💧 they are tropical. I water her once a week and since si got her in April it have new leafs. Maybe you should get a bigger pot
