# Hi! Does anyone know what this brownish kind of film is on my mother…

Hi! Does anyone know what this brownish kind of film is on my mother of thousands? I’ve tried identifying it myself but I’ve never seen this before. I have it quarantined now so hopefully whatever it is, is an isolated issue.

Looks like it may be edema from overwatering.

Mine loves to dry back before watering…

I do let it completely dry and leave it dry for a while before I water again, but I think it might just need a sunnier spot to dry out a little faster
