# Are these soil mites? They’re actively crawling around the edge of…

Are these soil mites? They’re actively crawling around the edge of the pot, with only one or two on the plant itself. In the photo, they’re actually crawling on the bottom of a yellow sticky trap. The plant looks healthy, without any signs of tissue damage or webbing.

If they’re soil mites, I read they could be beneficial even?
