# Hello! I am a beginner and was gifted this baby elephant ear plant…

Hello!

I am a beginner and was gifted this baby elephant ear plant two weeks ago. I bottom watered it last week.

When it as gifted to me I could tell another leaf was coming in, which did continue to grow and seems to be doing good.

I noticed this discoloration on the other leaves. It’s not yellow, more see through and mostly around the edges of the leaves with some dots two?

Good, bad, normal?

I found this to occur when I over water them.

Interesting. It’s due for water today per the app. Would you suggest I skip it?

I’d say very 10th day. Or until you see the soil dry
