This is my second guzmania. Everything says it’s an easy plant but I cannot keep them alive! Is this salvageable?

Air plants don’t get planted. Is it in dirt?

No tips unfortunately haha it’s on my plant wishlist though because it’s so colorful!

Never had one, but now that you’ve properly identified the plant, Planta will give good guidance on how to take care of it. For most plants the issue will be light, water, or pests.

I have one that’s doing okay I would say though it got a little sun burnt. It didn’t like direct sun hitting it and I’ve only watered it twice since I got it about 2 months ago. They also like water in the pockets where the leaves connect in the middle. My humidity is about 50-60%. They also are at the end of their life cycle when they have the colorful top from what I’ve read, so it might just be its time. Hope this helps!

I wonder if it’s the sun mine had these dry spots when the sun hit it
