Hard to tell amongst all the weeds. Pull all the weeds and debris and post another picture if you can.

i def think birds of paradise! but here’s a picture with the same amount of weeds, it’s just a plant that had been sitting at my moms

Yeah I think that’s it, we’re just used to seeing them much larger, it most likely died and sprouted new since it looks like a couple main centers.

so clean it up and see how it does? repot??

Yeah I would clean it out and give it some fresh soil. The leaves look healthy so it should do well!
