# Are these mottles on my monstera damage from pests (possibly thrips)…

Are these mottles on my monstera damage from pests (possibly thrips) or variegations? The mottles are only on one of the leaves, but I’ve wiped the plant down and louped every surface without finding any pests. I got this plant second hand so i don’t know its history, which is why I’m curious. The rest of the plant looks healthy and it’s growing!

Looks like mechanical damage from being bumped around during the move. Idk I’m no expert but they look super healthy, but then again looks could be deceiving. I’d separate him from the rest guy a few days just to watch but I think you’re fine!!🌱✨🌱
