# my alocasia leaves have brown ends, it came like this from the garden…

my alocasia leaves have brown ends, it came like this from the garden centre however i'm wondering what caused this so that i can help avoid it with its new leaves it's growing (it's grown 2!) and so that i can also prevent it from spreading, so i need to snip the ends off? remove the leaves as a whole?

I often see that on my plants that aren’t getting enough humidity

thought so, i don't have a humidifier but i do spray them with a water mister multiple times a day, thinking about getting a humidifier though

I used to do that a bunch too but a lot of plants often can’t really absorb too much water through their leaves by being misted and some can even get damaged by it supposedly. I got the cutest little one on Amazon and my planes have been LOVING it! Perky and green and beautiful! Got more to place around and even them all out and I think it’s even better than one bigger one. Posting URLs is restricted but here’s the name on Amazon, $8!!
