# I have a Bromeliad named ThicKiesha that has gotten a bit too big. I…

I have a Bromeliad named ThicKiesha that has gotten a bit too big. I didn’t know when she was younger that I was supposed to cut the pups off and plant them elsewhere. Now they have grown huge and are taking nutrients from the mother plant.

Is it okay to cut off the two new plants even though they are attached to the main plant? Will everyone survive?
