Zebra plants seem to prefer distilled water. I learned that the hard way with my first one. That could be causing you some issues. Does your pot have drainage?

^ I’d make sure it has proper drainage, and then cut off the growing leaves so they’re not taking all the energy away from the plant

Im really new to this so sorry for the dumb question. Should I remove the entire leaf that has brown on it?

You’re completely fine! It’s not dumb at all. Yes, try to cut near the stem, but not too close. Mine grew out a little and I have a bigger plant, but I would cut where my thumb is for example
