I just adopted this snake plant and it’s got some spots that look a bit rough! Any thoughts on what’s caused it, and how can I heal it?

My snake plant had this when I got it and it seems a lot like some something caused by some sort of bug (maybe a spider mite) corect me if I’m wrong

Can’t be healed. Like human scars. But it should keep growing!  
Perfectly imperfect.
