# Hey! So I’ve had this pothos for about a year maybe, I’ve had no…

Hey! So I’ve had this pothos for about a year maybe, I’ve had no problems with her until now and (she was getting big and beautiful she’s not so big now because recently I went a little chop and prop crazy 🫢) but I’ve been having a ton of fungus nats, so I used 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 4 parts water to get rid of the eggs in the soil. Today when I looked at her, some of her leaves looked like this! Lots of Black spots on the leaves. At first I was afraid it was a pest problem, but I didn’t see anything, and it happened so suddenly, so now I’m afraid that maybe I sprayed her with too much hydrogen peroxide? Or maybe that I got it on her leaves and I wasn’t supposed to?

Any advice, or knowledge would be GREATLY appreciated and very helpful, thank you in advance!!

Ps. I also very recently repotted her, because I realized the pot she was in was way too big for her, and I also changed the soil so now she’s in a perlite/soil mix

I’ve never had leaves turn black from hydrogen peroxide. If there’s so many gnats, it could be something rotting in the soil or that the soil is too wet. Maybe pull the plant out and see if it has root rot!

Ok, thank you so much! Fingers crossed it works out for the best and I just get a fuller plant haha!
