# Hi all, Does anyone have experience treating new plants empirically…

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience treating new plants empirically with a pesticide or fungicide while in quarantine?

The company Arber specifically recommends some of their products for this purpose. Interestingly, their products have notably different ingredients (heat killed bacteria) than most.

Many of us use a variety of different Neem, alcohol, or Soap dilutions for treatment, but live found little evidence to support empiric treatment on receipt of a new plant. Thoughts?
