Why is my rubber plant dying I don’t over water it but it’s top soil is still wet every time planta tells me to water it i keep it in bathroom so I’m gonna put it in the hall now and it won’t have much light but I don’t know if it needs lots of light and it hasn’t been repotted yet and I got it a good few months ago now could that be the problem too?

That black looks fungal, usually caused by overwatering. Does the pot have drainage? If it doesn’t, poke holes in the bottom. If it does, poke more holes in the bottom. At this point you may need to repot cutting off any “mushy” roots.

I noticed that when a plant doesn’t do well when the soil dries out too much, Planta recommends watering too much. I actually overwatered a plant and it was DROWNING because I followed the water recommendations to a tee. I had to remediate and literally dry out the soil and plant. It recovered now, but may be worth looking into. My plant was looking like your leaves, so look at the soil and the roots of your plant.

I haven’t watered it since before xmas now tho, but it still is dying
