# Hiya, i got this philodendron a few months ago, it was healthy till…

Hiya, i got this philodendron a few months ago, it was healthy till last month, its these two leaves yellowing with brown spots, rest of the plant is healthy + new leaves coming in regularly. not sure what's causing this or if its normal?

Hey! How often are you watering? And are you leaving the plant completely dry out in between watering?

i water about every 10 days and i havent been letting it fully dry seems to be the wrong thing to do according to another comment ! i was told philodendrons like constantly moist soil so i only let the top dry before watering

Honestly we have all been there! We think it’s what they need when really they just need to be left to dry out haha! We just love or plants too much ✨✨
