I bought this platinum mist peace lily about a month ago and when I got it the soil was soaked. So I avoided watering it for a few weeks. Less than a week after I brought it home the leaves started browning on the edges and the next week started yellowing. I tried moving it to a different room with more indirect light and it did not help. I discovered it had root rot and had to remove nearly 80% of the roots. I then resorted to putting them into water which kind of held it over but I gave away a few of them. I was told to put the remains ones I had all together into soil and water it very little. I used tropical mix but I’m worried that the pot I used is too big for the roots. The leaves are not all perked. Some are wilted. Some of them are starting to brown in the edges. Should I pot it down?
