# I thought my silver inch plant was doing great as the hanging leaves…

I thought my silver inch plant was doing great as the hanging leaves are gorgeous and look happy until I took it down to rearrange some plants and noticed a bunch of dead leaves in the middle of the pot and that it looks like the roots are thinning and dying just before they enter the soil. Some had already separated from the plant bc the root thinned so much it wasn’t attached to anything. If you zoom in on the second pic you should see it better.

Any idea what’s going on? It’s not planted deep enough? I cleaned it up and added some of the pieces that fell off or weren’t connected anymore to a jar to propagate.

Don’t worry! This is a plant that needs constant pruning and propagation.
