# i got a money tree about 6 months ago and it was very happy until…

i got a money tree about 6 months ago and it was very happy until about 2 weeks ago when it started dropping some leaves and turning yellow.  
the soil was super dry so i watered it, and i moved it upstairs because i was worried it was being impacted by the cold draft from our back door opening…but it doesn’t seem to be turning around.  
the plant is in the nursery pot inside a larger pot and both have drainage.  
any ideas or suggestions?

How much light does it get/did it change when you moved it?

same amount of indirect but a little more direct light

I just got a money tree about two months ago and I had no clue how to take care of it. Thank you so much for this information. My money tree was dropping occasional leads and didn’t show any new growth. I think I have a better idea now what to do! Thanks again!
