# Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep gnats out of my plants.…

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep gnats out of my plants. They don’t seem to be hurting them 🤷🏾‍♀️ it’s just quite annoying when I get near any of my plants to admire them i see all these lil gnats flying around 🤦🏾‍♀️

One thing that has always worked for me is to put a few cuttings from my rosemary on top of the soil. Only about three to four small stems and they are gone. Hope it works for you.

You can get some yellow sticky traps or water from below

Happy Happy Houseplant sells a product called “death drops” that has worked great for me. You just add a couple drops to your watering can every time you water.

The best thing that I once saw was to use sand on top of my plants. It worked so so much! It was the best solution low effort recommendation I got. I put sand (normal sand from Walmart for kids playgrounds) on top of my plants (3-5 cm depth) and the next day I went from being in my living room with flies on my face to zero bugs.
