# I have a fiddle leaf fig and I’ve noticed tiny black spots that flake…

I have a fiddle leaf fig and I’ve noticed tiny black spots that flake off easily and then some stuff that looks like dirt develop on some of the leaves. Curious if anyone has any ideas. I’m new to houseplants so not sure if I should be wiping down the leaves every so often to give them a cleaning?

Black dots are tripe poop and the orange colouration could possibly be spider mites
