Hellllp

I got my Alocasia (Dracula) about three days ago and I’m starting to notice that the flowers that are supposed to be blooming are starting to burn. Today was the first day I put her into a sunny spot in my living room. She only got about three hours of sun, because I didn’t want to overwhelm her. And now there’s a scab on her leaf.  
Also, I’ve heard a lot about cutting off the flowers , is that something you think I should do. This is also my first time having a plant like this.

I would say check out the roots to see best what’s going on!! it may be suffering from some thing deeper than environmental issues
