Could someone help me identify this plant \& give me advice on how I can help them??

These were given to me by my mom, initially they were all in one big pot that she kept outside but we split it up and took them indoors since I think they might not be outdoor plants?

My best guess is its some kind of succulent or jade so Ive just been letting them dry out. Should I trim them? Theres so many dead ends

It’s a type of Elephant Bush - Portulacaria afra etc. There are some varieties of this in the Planta database if you search that name.

Agreed, it’s a portulaca/purslane variety.
