# Any suggestions on how to make my plant more bushy? Other photos I’ve…

Any suggestions on how to make my plant more bushy? Other photos I’ve seen of this baby have more leaves and sprouts from the root, but mine is acting more like a hanging pothos and only grows from the arms.  
If fertilizer is the answer, any advice on type?

You should propagate the arms, when they get roots put them back in the pot so the top is more full. Or you can take one of the long arms and kindof wrap it around on top of the soil so it looks more full. Then make sure the top of the pot is getting enough light :) i dont have one of these plants but thats what I do with my pothos to make the top look fuller. Hope this helps

Yours looks so much better than mine. I’ve already killed one, but I do think smallbeetoes advice is solid!

I trimmed my back and it got bushy. I didn’t propagate it.  
The ones I did I gave away to family. Mine is so big now 😂😭 she’s due for another trim

That’s so interesting! Is there a certain way to trim? Or can I just cut it at the length I like?

Girl you can butcher it and it’ll come back strong.  
Here she is now.

Here’s mine before.  
It’s the same species.  
Just mine is ‘Lilac’ I also have a spider wort. Or Purple Heart plant. I had one of what you have and I gave it away.  
Mines are in full sun outside too.
