# Hi there, I keep finding these brown spots on some of my outdoor…

Hi there,  
I keep finding these brown spots on some of my outdoor plants. I’ve found them on my basil, mint, and lemon balm and maybe my tomato I can’t remember. It doesn’t look like “brown spot” images that I’ve seen and the plants are otherwise healthy so I’m not sure if it’s just bug poop or something lol thanks for your help!

In trees that’s a fungus. So my first thought is fungus. I’m not sure though. Dr google is a great choice, especially if you know what the plant is.

This is my basil plant. But I’ve also found those spots on my mint and lemon balm

Looks sorta like a leaf miner, eats the interior of the leaf and leaves the top and bottom surfaces intact.
