I always recommend airier soil, like coco coir. This may be an over water. They have tiny little roots that rot easily as they said already. If you’re worried, do an emergency prop. You can chop it up and put them in water and when you have roots, put them back into a 3-4 in pot and watch hee hee regrow. I am having the same issue actually. I love these plants so much but they are so sensitive and I’ve killed way too many. What is the best way to take care of them when they are kind of in the state where you can tell that they’re in shock but I keep finding parts of the roots rot other parts aren’t I will agree though the ones that I have not watered and are thirsty are much better health than the ones that are in a multi condition but the weather change confused me and I forgot to water less than I have been. my pots are molding. I have all terra-cotta pots but the ones without drainage trolls have a little bit of mold on the outside which makes me realize that the poor plant is probably sitting in like a wet diaper. I repotting all the ones with drainage and pearl light to mix into my soil which should make it more airy. I have a few where the leaves look like the rotting but the roots are not like I’ve been measuring them with a water stick and they are super dry, so how is it at? The top is molding and rotting but the bottom is not??
