what am i doin wrong here. I think we over watered at first. someone added fertilizer and it started to mold.

Your not doing anything wrong that is the cycle of the plant. It only blooms once and then it will die off. It should produce pups on the side and you can try to save one of those. But other than that what is happening to your plant is completely normal

it kinda has brown tips to the leaves too

should i pull/cut the flowers out if they are browning???
